Hi! My name is Quinn Girrens and I’m an out-of-state student from Los Alamos, New Mexico. I’m a junior studying Political Science with a minor in French. I’m very honored to be representing the students of Colorado State University. My office door is always open to students who want to get involved, need to voice a concern, have a question, or want some assistance.

The Vice President of ASCSU is responsible to the students of Colorado State University through the ASCSU Senate serving as the Speaker of the Senate. It is also my responsibility to serve as the Chair of the Student Fee Review Board as well as other university committees.

Goals:
 
  • Be an accurate and fair representative of the diverse student body at Colorado State University
  • Act in the best interest of the Colorado State student body
  • Make sure that ASCSU is a welcoming and open place for all students
  • Ensure that ASCSU is transparent and visible organization
  • Support student organizations in any way possible
  • Serve as a fair and efficient Speaker of the Senate and ensure that the student voice is fairly represented
  • Work alongside Senate to enhance the Senator-Outreach Program to better represent the students and increase knowledge about the student opinion for better decision making
  • Act as an advocate for students throughout the process of assessing student fee
  • Provide students with information about their student fees
  • Elevate the prestige of the Pacesetter Award
