Supreme Court Mission

The ASCSU Supreme Court strives for the fair and equal treatment of all students in their conduct proceedings at the university whether those proceedings are through the office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct Services or through the Associated Students of Colorado State University. We are committed to creating a safe environment, promoting student success, and representing student interests in the CSU community.

The ASCSU Supreme Court has judicial authority over ASCSU. Responsibilities associated with this authority include interpreting, upholding, and enforcing the ASCSU Constitution, acts of the ASCSU Senate, acts of other ASCSU Administrative Boards, and the bylaws of the ASCSU Supreme Court. The ASCSU Supreme Court is also charged with upholding the rules and regulations of the Student Conduct Code, Greek Judicial Code, as well as the procedures for Student Conduct Boards for Student Organizations and Sports Clubs.

In carrying out these responsibilities, the ASCSU Supreme Court endeavors to recognize separate cases for their individual circumstances while preserving equal justice for all under the established rules. We seek to provide open access and plain, comprehensible information to the CSU community about our process and decisions whenever possible and appropriate.
